Birthday Celebrations: The Homemade Treats

It was my birthday this week, so I hosted a party last weekend to celebrate. I had about twenty friends join the party & made a whole bunch of cupcakes, small cheesecakes, cake and pancakes (forgot to take pictures of those, though). The cheesecakes were the absolute favorites, although I was the proudest of the lemon cupcakes with lemon curd & lemon meringue. Before any of you consider me crazy for baking this many treats for my own birthday: I actually love baking THAT much! This was pure fun for me.
