June 2012 buys
I’m a bit late with this one, but I really wanted to show you a few things I got back in June.
I bought the Ciaté White Chocolate Nourishing & Gentle Nail Polish Remover (with vitamins E & B5) at Beauty Queen on sale with 40% off, so I was really happy to stumble upon it! It’s very heavy on the nose while removing the nail polish, but afterwards there’s a very sweet white chocolate scent. At first I thought that it was kind of harsh anyhow because of the chemical smell, but my nails don’t dry out at all. So this was such a great buy! I found & discovered Organic Surge’s Tropical Bergamot Body Lotion on the Zalando webshop and was intrigued because I really love organic beauty products. The scent is very natural, but I really like those kinds of scents. It really is indeed very moisturizing and does not leave a greasy, sticky feeling. I will most certainly buy this again: such a great discovery! The Treat Yellow Rose Hair & Body Powder I also found on sales at Beautyqueen, with a whopping 50% off! I did not know the brand, but I really liked the ingredients so I thought I’d give it a shot as a face powder. I really like the smell and the finish, but I don’t like how my face feels very powdery all day when I use a regular amount. I now use just a tad bit to diminish the powdery feeling, and somehow it still does a great job.
I’m in LOVE with this MAC Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel. It’s amazing for my skin. I think I just found my go to moisturizer for the coming years. It’s not all sticky, but still moisturizes my skin like crazy. It’s not budget, nor extremely expensive, so I’d really recommend it if you have oily skin that still feels dry sometimes. I got the Skin Conditioner at Sasa webshop, I just bought it because Michelle Phan swears by it. I love how it feels & what it does, but I hate how it’s full of icky ingredients. Didn’t think about those when buying, I was way too impulsive.. The KORRES Pomegranate Facial Towlettes I found at my pharmacy. I switched pharmacy’s because I kept going to my old pharmacy on the other side of town & now searched for a good one near my new apartment. My new pharmacy carries all sorts of natural skin care brands, so I couldn’t be happier. I really love these towlettes as they are very thorough & do not leave a burning sensation. They are a bit more expensive than regular towlettes though (at 8 euro per package), but it’s totally worth it.
The Skin Conditioner’s instructions. Basically this is a water-based super moisturizer you need to soak some cotton pads in. Then you need to peel the cotton pads and apply layer per layer on your skin. After fifteen minutes you can take them off & your face will feel extremely soft and moisturized. Amazing!
Look at the amazing texture of MAC’s Charged Water Moisture Gel. I love this!
