Healing Your Nails
I’ve been having some trouble with my nails the past couple of months. Wearing nail polish day in, day out without time in between sure does take its toll. My advice? Let them breathe once in a while! And don’t use too much nail polish remover with acetone.
So what have I been doing for the past three weeks? First of all: I haven’t been wearing any nail polish to let my nails breathe. I’ve done just three nail polish looks and took them off immediately (without acetone!). Also, I’ve been using Lush’s Lemony Flutter (review here) religiously every evening. And then, to top it off & to make sure my strong nails will really last, I’ve been using Oenobiol’s supplement for healthy hair & nails. The working ingredient is Nutrisilicium, which helps make your hair & nails stronger. I can’t say just yet if this is working (you’re supposed to notice change from the third month on), so I’ll post an update about this in two months when I’ve finished the pills. I’ve read about some amazing results with the supplements, so I’ve got my fingers crossed!
